Common Threads Quilters Guild
We encourage the appreciation, education, and experiences of quilting. Our membership is open to all who have an interest in quilting, regardless of their experience in quiliting. A quilt show is held during Harvestfest in September.

Three concerts are scheduled throughout each year. A variety of entertainment such as a cappella groups, brass ensembles, fi ddle and dance, etc. is performed at the Hazen High School Theater. Membership is required.

Jam Sessions
Musicians gather at the Hazen City Hall the first Sunday of each month starting in May until October, to play and sing their favorite old time, gospel and patriotic tunes. The event is free to the public. All ages welcome to attend and play a tune! Coffee and cookies are provided.

The very talented Hazen Junior and Senior High Jazz Bands present a concert following a dinner and silent auction at its annual event in February.

For 55 years this group of dedicated and talented musicians has spread the message of Christmas through word and song. It is held annually at the Hazen Elementary Gym in a beautifully decorated setting.

Music in the Park
A fundraiser meal and musical entertainment is held the the second Wednesday in June, July and August. The event is held the first Wednesay in September to kick off Harvestfest Celebration. The Paul Weiser Pocke Park located dowtown has outgrown this annual event, which is now held at the Heritage Park. Area musicians perform a variety of music ranging from country/bluegrass to folk to gospel. Food and beverages are served by local caterers. Information posted at area businesses and Chamber of Commerce social media.
